New SEWERIN sales staff

Two members of the SEWERIN sales team are currently awaiting the joys of motherhood: sales consultant Nina Klein and the assistant to sales manager Andreas Schweitzer, Anna Blasius. Both have been on maternity leave since November 2015.

Melanie Vogel has taken over from Nina Klein. Following her training as an industrial business management assistant, Melanie, who comes from Gütersloh in Germany, worked in a sales office in the food industry, and then for a children’s book publisher.

She has been bolstering the sales team since September and is responsible for the Rhineland, Bergisches Land, southern Westphalia, Rhineland-Palatinate, southern, central and eastern Hesse and the Saarland regions of Germany. She also looks after SEWERIN’s international distribution partners and customers in Poland, Hungary, Ukraine, Russia, Canada, Romania, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Melanie Vogel enjoys travelling, reading and attending events.

Karen Balke-Fechner, was born in Herford in 1965, joined SEWERIN in mid October and took over management of the sales office from Anna Blasius.

She is a trained industrial business management assistant with further training in marketing.

She started her career as an export clerk before heading up several office teams.
