ENGIE awards order to SEWERIN for gas measuring instruments

The electricity and gas supplier ENGIE Romania S. A. has awarded SEWERIN an order for 300 fully equipped gas measuring devices of the type EX-TEC HS 680 as well as 26 extraction devices for installation in its gas measuring vehicles.

With 21,700 km of gas distribution network, 2 million gas customers, 300 million m3 of natural gas storage capacity and 2,640 employees, ENGIE Romania S.A. is the largest gas supplier in Romania. The international large group ENGIE is the result of a merger between SUEZ and Gas de France.

The EX-TEC® HS 680 supports the user in the unambiguous location of leaks on buried pipes. Whether above-ground network survey, measuring in bar holes, gas purity measurement or the inspection of freely accessible pipes at industrial plants, the user can handle the most diverse application cases with this device alone. Cost- and time-consuming incorrect excavations are avoided and shaft work is reduced to a minimum.
