Detect even small gas leaks safely

Thanks to the excellent resolution of the measuring laser, the devices achieve high sensitivity. The SR-LD 800 and SR-LD 200 are designed for the detection of methane gas and are not affected by cross-interference of other gases due to the TDLAS procedure used.

Find gas leaks up to 200 m away

They optimally detect methane gas leaks even over long distances of up to 200 m. A laser beam emitted by the detector is reflected on a surface (e.g. wall, ground). If methane is present along the measurement path, the signal of the laser beam is attenuated by the methane. The device calculates the methane concentration from the signal attenuation. The devices provide safe detection and clear indication of the leakage by automatically adjusting the zero point as the distance changes. Thanks to the long laser ranges, the devices facilitate the inspection of exposed gas pipelines even in hard-to-reach areas, not only over fences but also on busy roads or in industrial plants.
