The VARIOTEC® 460 Tracergas offers you a tried and tested method for pinpointing even the smallest leaks. By the smallest leaks, we mean damage to water pipelines where the sound of escaping water cannot be measured using acoustic locating methods. This can be the case, for example, with hairline cracks where the outflow volume is too low or if there are no possible measuring points for sound sensors, or they are too far away. Typical areas of application are water networks. Specialised personnel from utility companies benefit particularly from this method. The tracer gas can also reliably locate leaks through asphalt, concrete or other surface sealants and is non-flammable.
