SePem 352 — stationary noise logger

Monitor drinking water networks efficiently

Water utilities are under increasing pressure to reduce network losses and locate leaks at an early stage. With the SePem® 352 noise logger, you can continuously monitor defined sections of the network. The loggers automatically transmit measurement data via LoRaWAN® to your network monitoring system or to the SePem® web app. This enables you to reliably identify suspected leaks and follow them up in a targeted way. The result: faster leak detection and more sustainable operation of your drinking water network.

Detect leaks with SePem® 352 LoRaWAN® – efficient and reliable

  • Above-average battery life of up to 12 years when using the standard settings.
  • Attractive total cost of ownership thanks to the long battery life and the low number of loggers required.
  • Highly sensitive piezo microphone with optimised frequency response.
  • Analysis of the transmitted data in the SePem® web app or in the customer’s own network information system.
  • Simple installation on existing fittings, supported by the SePem® Install app.
  • Wireless transmission of measurement data via LoRaWAN® for communication over long distances.
  • IP68 protection rating for permanent use at measurement points in drinking water distribution networks, including under water.

Using SePem 352 – efficient, reliable solution for permanent monitoring

The SePem® 352 is used by water utilities, municipal utilities, network operators and service providers that want to continuously monitor their drinking water distribution networks. The logger is installed directly on suitable fittings in the distribution network and can remain in place for up to 12 years. During operation, the logger repeatedly records noise levels and transmits the data to the customer’s own network monitoring system or to the SePem® web app, where it is analysed and documented. This makes it possible to distinguish between unremarkable sections of the network and areas where suspected leaks are emerging. These sections are then specifically taken into account in operational planning. In this way, the system makes an important contribution to increasing supply security and systematically reducing water losses.
