Working safely with hydrogen

The EX-TEC® SNOOPER 4

With a measuring range of 0 to 22,000 ppm, it is ideal for applications that require accurate detection of the smallest gas concentrations. The term ppm stands for "parts per million", whereby 10,000 ppm corresponds to one per cent by volume.

The device is perfect for detecting leaks in pipework inside buildings, testing weld seams and carrying out in-house tests. It is set up for methane (CH4) as standard, but can also be switched to hydrogen (H2), which further increases its versatility and adaptability.

In hydrogen environments, the EX-TEC® SNOOPER 4 must be used in a special carrying case to ensure maximum safety. This safety precaution allows the device to be used even in difficult and potentially hazardous conditions.

The EX-TEC® SNOOPER 4 provides professionals with a reliable tool for the precise detection of gas and hydrogen leaks. It makes a significant contribution to creating safe working conditions and recognising and eliminating gas leak hazards at an early stage.
