SachenEnergie Goes West - Hydrogen and Measurement Technology at Sewerin

Guetersloh, June 6, 2024 – Almost 20 experts for the gas leak detection of SachsenEnergie set off from Dresden to Guetersloh early at 7 a.m. The focus was on the exchange of experience on hydrogen. How does hydrogen affect gas measurement technology? What should be considered when hydrogen is fed into gas networks? What is already happening in practice and how can gas measurement technology be used safely? Dirk Abolins found answers to these questions.

Exciting discussions developed within the framework of Andreas Schweitzer’s lecture on the topic “EU methane emission regulation – Current status of the regulatory framework for the reduction of methane emissions”.

During the company tour, the employees of SachsenEnergie were able to gain an impression of how measuring instruments are produced today and which innovations have been introduced at SEWERIN in terms of technology and processes.

We were particularly pleased about the guest gift: The exceptionally designed plaque documents 34 years of successful cooperation between SachsenEnergie and SEWERIN. Thank you very much!

It’s a surprisingly summery day with beer and burgers. Glad you were with us!
