In Michael, we have brought on board a true all-rounder and an experienced specialist who is characterized not only by his professional versatility, but also by his passion for technology.
Following his intensive training at our headquarters in Gütersloh, Michael Schäfer will take over the maintenance and repair of our appliances, both at our Chemnitz branch and in the field. His impressive professional career began with an apprenticeship as a mechatronics engineer at a press manufacturer. After additionally training as an IT systems technician, his path led him back to mechatronics via various stations. Most recently, he worked for four years in the manufacture and maintenance of test adapters before joining us.
In addition to his professional expertise, Michael also has some interesting personal passions. In his spare time, he enjoys working with films, whether it's wrapping cars or creating and applying stickers and lettering. He is also passionate about creative design with epoxy resin, creating impressive decorative objects. Michael is also a terrarium and aquarium enthusiast, if time and the size of his home allow.
What Michael particularly likes about SEWERIN is the openness and friendliness of his colleagues. In his own words: "My colleagues are very responsive and I always receive friendly support when I have questions, so that they are answered to my complete satisfaction. In addition, the induction training is very detailed and great importance is attached to ensuring that the knowledge acquired is firmly anchored and can be fully applied."
