BiogasWorld 2013: Looking towards Eastern Europe

In parallel to WASSER BERLIN INTERNATIONAL, the second BiogasWorld was held in hall 20 of the Berlin show grounds. Unlike the biogas conference of the biogas professional association, this event was primarily geared towards companies from the biogas industry, who focus on exporting their technologies and services abroad.

Visitors to the SEWERIN stand at BiogasWorld showed great interest in the <link internal-link internen link im aktuellen>Multitec® BioControl combined measuring device. This combined measuring device consists of the <link internal-link internen link im aktuellen>Multitec® BioControl fixed installation and the  <link internal-link internen link im aktuellen>Multitec® 540 mobile gas measuring equipment.

Depending on the version of <link internal-link internen link im aktuellen>Multitec® BioControl, the gas composition and volume can be automatically measured and monitored at up to eight measurement locations. The <link internal-link internen link im aktuellen>Multitec® 540 measures the values at the individual measurement locations sequentially. The values are transferred to the <link internal-link internen link im aktuellen>Multitec® BioControl via an interface.

Approximately 5,000 visitors attended BiogasWorld, thus maintaining the level seen at the inaugural event in 2012. Of these, roughly 70% were foreign, which the organisers say was a 20% increase compared to last year.

Curtis Schulze, SEWERIN product manager for biogas devices, confirmed the high international contingent: “The international visitors were very interested in our biogas products. We will seriously consider taking part in the next event at the beginning of April 2014.”
